Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality in Omaha seeks a dedicated Night Auditor to balance the books, process check-ins, and respond to late-night guest inquiries on the overnight shift. You’ll produce daily reports and ensure accurate accounting while delivering warm, attentive service.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, about 1 year in a hotel or related field, and comfort with Windows, Excel and Word. Supervisory experience is a plus and opportunities for growth are offered at Hotel Deco.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and handle check-ins/check-outs during overnight shift.
• Balance the books, finalize transactions, and ensure accurate accounting.
• Conduct regular security walks and maintain guest safety.
• Create Daily Flash Report and other management reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to keep overnight operations smooth.
• Utilize Windows, spreadsheets and Word to solve problems independently.

Key Skills/Responsibilities

• Nighttime Welcome Wagon: Greet guests with warmth and efficiency during the overnight shift (11 PM – 7 AM). Handle check-ins, reservations, and those quirky late-night questions like a pro.
• Master of Midnight Math: Own the Night Audit! Balance the books, finalize transactions, and make sure every number is in its perfect place. Detail lovers, this is your time to shine.
• Guardian of the Glow-Up: Keep the property safe and sound with regular security walks. You’re the calm, watchful presence that helps guests sleep easy.
• The Nightly Newsroom: Create daily reports and the Daily Flash Report to give management the inside scoop on what went down while the world was sleeping.
• Teamwork After Twilight: Work hand-in-hand with other departments to keep operations smooth and service top-notch—even in the wee hours.
• Tech-Savvy Problem Solver: If you’re fluent in Windows, spreadsheets, and word docs—and you’ve got a knack for solving problems solo—you’ll fit right in.

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework beneficial.
• 1 year in a hotel or related field. Supervisory experience is a plus.
