Job summary

The Cook at Highgate Hotels is responsible for preparing all food items across Restaurants, Room Service, Employee Cafeteria and Banquets, following standardized recipes and high standards. Maintain cleanliness and safety in kitchen areas while minimizing waste and controlling costs.

Responsibilities include prep work, buffet display, maintaining proper storage, and supporting any kitchen position as needed, all under Chef supervision.

Qualifications

• Culinary experience required in hotel or related food service.
• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts.
• Stand for entire shift and handle hot/cold temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas.
• Prepare food and station prep prior to opening.
• Prepare and display buffet items to hotel standards.
