ELEMENT BY WESTIN - KNOXVILLE WEST is seeking a Cook to prepare and present menu items following approved recipes and standards. This on-site role involves maintaining the cooking line, stock levels, and strict food-safety practices during each shift.

The candidate should have at least one year of experience with standardized recipes and a background in food-service. High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; a food-handler certification may be required after hire.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience preparing food from standardized recipes preferred.
• Hotel/restaurant/retail food-service experience preferred.
• Food-handler certification preferred at hire or may be required after employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, portion, and present menu items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain stock levels and prep line for each shift.
• Follow all food-safety requirements for handling, cooking, cooling, holding, labeling, and storing food.
