Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Scottsdale is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to maintain clean, safe and inviting spaces for our guests at Paradise Valley. You will follow established cleaning procedures while handling guest requests to ensure a consistently high standard of hospitality.

The ideal candidate has strong customer-service skills, attention to detail, and the stamina to work in a fast-paced hotel.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• 3 years cooking experience preferred. Broiler cooking preferred.
• Knowledge of food/beverage preparations, service standards and etiquette.
• Knowledge of broiler cooking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of sauté cooking fundamentals.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards.
• Knowledge of operating kitchen equipment (stoves, ovens, broilers, etc.).
• Basic math for recipes, measurements and portions.
• Basic English to understand inquiries and give instructions.
• Ability to comprehend product labeling instructions for safe use.
• Ability to operate beverage equipment (coffee maker).

Responsibilities

• Prepares daily preparation lists for production.
• Reads and employs math skills to follow recipes.
• Prepares all broiled and sautéed food items according to standard recipes.
• Visually inspects and uses only high-standard food items.
• Checks and controls proper storage and portion control to maintain quality.
• Keeps refrigeration, equipment, and storage clean and compliant with health regulations.
• Maintains logs and proper temperature control.
• Follows safety and security procedures and rules.
• Reports unsafe conditions to management.
• Performs related duties as requested by management.
