San Marcos Embassy Suites is seeking an experienced Event Services professional to collaborate with clients on detailed, unforgettable events in a full-time role in San Marcos, TX. You will lead banquet coordination, manage guestroom blocks, and ensure accurate invoicing while driving revenue through proactive client communication.

The role requires 2+ years in event services, strong tech skills with BEOs, diagrams, and CRMs, and a flexible, client-focused mindset to deliver exceptional guest

Qualifications

• 2+ years of event services experience.
• Strong technology skills with BEOs, diagramming tools, and CRMs.
• Flexible and adaptable; events don’t stick to a 9-5.
• Exceptional communicator; can calm a planner under pressure.
• Understanding of group and social event segments.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to craft detailed, unforgettable event experiences.
• Lead banquet coordination with BEO creation and distribution.
• Drive revenue through upselling and proactive client communication.
• Monitor guestroom blocks and manage contracts to avoid attrition charges.
• Manage payments from start to finish with clear invoices.
• Lead site tours and participate in pre/post-event meetings and execution.
• Support Sales and Marketing with activities and revenue checks.
