Residence Inn Tuscaloosa is seeking an experienced Engineering/Maintenance Leader to oversee the building’s upkeep and safety. The role directs and collaborates with property managers to ensure proper operation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems, while focusing on guest comfort and departmental financial performance.

Qualifications

Strong leadership skills to manage a dynamic maintenance team.
Comprehensive knowledge of elevator operations, maintenance, and inspections.
Proficiency with building technology including TV, internet, phone systems, etc.
Ability to work cohesively with staff across departments.
Ability to communicate effectively with guests, management, and vendors.

Responsabilités

Lead and execute all engineering and maintenance efforts.
Develop, coordinate and monitor PM programs for guest rooms and public spaces.
Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems and repairs.
Manage capital projects, renovations, and vendor relationships.
Develop training modules and mentor associates to meet SOPs and safety standards.
Prepare annual Capex and operating budgets and ensure financial targets are met.
