SpringHill Suites Tallahassee Central is seeking a Chief Engineer to manage232? maintenance and operations. You’ll lead the engineering team, ensure equipment reliability, and control costs while keeping guest satisfaction high.

The role requires supervisory experience and HVAC/pool/electrical certifications, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliable service for a premier downtown hotel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years hotel/related experience, or 2-year degree with 3+ years, or 4-year degree with 2+ years.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current certifications as required (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical).
• Licensed to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Calm under pressure.
• Financial and arithmetic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest rooms and public spaces to brand standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule the engineering team for optimal performance.
• Perform fire safety inspections and drills to ensure safety.
• Respond to maintenance requests and uphold guest service scores.
