Job summary

Peachtree Group Hospitality Management is seeking a Chief Engineer for our Orlando hotel to oversee all administrative, financial, and operational engineering tasks. The role ensures safe, profitable operation of the hotel engineering department and staff supervision in SOPs and lifesafety standards.

The incumbent will manage maintenance plans, energy conservation programs, ADA compliance, and vendor contracts while coordinating with management on budgets and daily work orders.

Qualifications

• Supervise and train all engineering staff in SOPs and Loss Prevention standards.
• Adhere to the annual budget for the department.
• Develop and implement plans to maintain property, equipment, grounds, and other assets.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Ensure that emergency and life safety equipment and systems are inspected, tested, and certified per standards.
• Take immediate action on alarms and report findings to the front desk.
• Attend and/or conduct all training/meetings as requested by management.
