Job summary

Peachtree Group is seeking a Chief Engineer to oversee the hotel’s engineering department, ensuring safe, reliable, and profitable operations. You will manage budgets, schedule staff, supervise maintenance, and enforce SOPs while upholding Loss Prevention standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting life safety systems, responding to alarms, coordinating energy-conservation initiatives, ensuring ADA compliance, and administering vendor contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading hotel engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of budget management and maintenance planning.
• Familiarity with life safety systems and ADA compliance.
• Experience with vendor contracts and energy conservation programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance of property, equipment, and assets.
• Supervise and train engineering staff in SOPs and loss prevention.
• Develop and manage department budget.
• Schedule staff and monitor overtime.
• Inspect, test, and certify life safety systems.
• Respond to alarms and coordinate emergency actions.
• Manage vendor contracts and parts inventory.
