Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn of Schahet Hotels is seeking a Chief Engineer to lead preventive maintenance, repairs, and upkeep of the hotel facilities, ensuring safety and guest comfort.

You will manage parts, inventory, and tools, supervise maintenance staff, and uphold green initiatives while protecting hotel assets. Hospitality experience is preferred; an AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in general building maintenance or construction, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Hospitality experience preferred.
• AA degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good working order of all hotel facilities.
• Order parts and supplies timely while minimizing waste and supporting green initiatives.
• Keep grounds clear of visible trash and maintain parking areas, sidewalks, breezeways, stairs, and entrances.
• Report problems that would affect guest satisfaction.
• May be responsible for hotel security to minimize theft and hazards.
• Report and fix safety hazards throughout the hotel.
• Carry out preventive maintenance programs to keep the facility in service for guests.
