You will manage maintenance staff and contractors, enforce safety standards, and coordinate with other departments to support guest satisfaction and smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–4 years in hotel engineering or maintenance management.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, and energy controls.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance staff and contractors, including hiring, training, and evaluation.
• Experience with budgeting, inventory management, and purchasing for maintenance operations.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergencies.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail in planning and execution.
• Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with other departments, vendors, and management.
• Familiarity with safety and compliance protocols; CPO certification required within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Supervise maintenance operations, including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, water treatment, A/C, lighting, and fire/life safety systems.
• Monitor and manage energy consumption for efficiency.
• Oversee contracted services to meet hotel standards and guest expectations.
• Supervise maintenance staff, including hiring, training, evaluations, and scheduling.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and Security on operations, key control, and safety procedures.
• Assist with project planning and work with architects/contractors on bids and blueprints.
• Develop and maintain maintenance programs and budgets; manage inventories and purchasing.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of workspaces and attendance at required meetings.
