Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality in Midland, TX seeks a Chief Engineer to maintain guest rooms and public spaces, lead the engineering team, and ensure all systems run safely and efficiently. You’ll manage maintenance requests and uphold high guest service standards while protecting assets and controlling costs.

The role requires supervisory experience, relevant certifications, and a proven ability to handle pressure with clear communication and solid decision-making.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years hotel/related experience, or 2-year degree with 3+ years, or 4-year degree with 2+ years.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current certifications as required (e.g., HVAC, pool, electrical).
• Licensed to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Calm under pressure.
• Financial and arithmetic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain every room and public space to company standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule the engineering team.
• Run fire safety inspections and drills.
• Respond to maintenance requests to boost guest service scores.
• Patrol the grounds and manage Lost and Found.
• Represent the company with trust and sound judgment.
