Job summary

This role requires strong problem-solving, supervisory experience, and relevant certifications. You’ll lead preventive maintenance, respond to requests quickly, and contribute to a welcoming guest experience while controlling costs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years hotel/related experience, or 2-year degree with 3+ years, or 4-year degree with 2+ years.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Current certifications as required (HVAC, pool, electrical).
• Licensed to operate/repair boilers and chillers per local laws.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Calm under pressure.
• Financial and arithmetic proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all rooms and public spaces to company standards.
• Lead, train, and schedule engineering staff.
• Perform fire safety inspections and drills.
• Respond to maintenance requests to boost guest service.
• Patrol grounds, manage Lost and Found, keep areas clean.
• Access sensitive areas and uphold company trust.
