Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Chief Engineer for the AC/Moxy Atlanta Midtown to lead proactive maintenance and life-safety programs. The ideal candidate will oversee HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, manage a team, and ensure brand standards across the property.

Minimum five years in a hotel maintenance leadership role, with strong leadership and communication skills. The role offers a robust benefits package and opportunities for development within a growing hospitality

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years in a maintenance leadership position, preferably in hotels.
• High school education required; college/trade schooling preferred in mechanical/electrical/technical disciplines.
• Certified pool operator certification preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proactive preventive maintenance programs meet brand standards for all hotel systems.
• Follow safe working practices and maintain records of maintenance activities.
• Inspect guest rooms after maintenance and address issues with staff.
• Maintain inventory and prioritise work orders; close deficiencies promptly.
• Oversee swimming pool/spa maintenance per brand standards and health regulations.
• Supervise contracted capital projects and coordinate with departments to fulfill guest needs.
