Job summary

Proximity Hotel and O.Henry Hotel seek a Catering Sales Manager to drive group event sales, plan catered experiences, and maintain guest satisfaction in Greensboro, NC. You will prospect leads, nurture client relationships, and coordinate with culinary and operations teams to deliver exceptional events.

The role requires 2+ years in hotel sales or catering, excellent communication, and a proactive, energetic approach to hospitality.

Qualifications

2+ years in hotel sales, catering and F&B with proven sales ability.
Clear understanding of the sales process.
Friendly, energetic and detail-oriented.
Passion for hospitality.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Sense of urgency and initiative.
Experience with Salesforce/Amadeus (Delphi) a plus.

Responsibilities

Sell group event space and catered food and beverage with focus on seasonal restaurant offerings.
Generate and prospect leads proactively.
Develop account relationships and translate guests’ visions to operations.
Build community presence through networking and relationships.
Manage bookings considering rates, dates, and space.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and sanitation.
Lead interactions with ownership of intentions and perceptions.
