Responsibilities

• Clean rooms quickly, neatly, and efficiently.
• Ensure guest room corridors are clean.
• Clean hallways, lobby, lounges, restrooms and other areas to health standards.
• Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, using vacuum cleaners.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport waste to disposal areas.
• Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
• Polish silver accessories and metalwork; replace light bulbs.
• Replenish supplies: drinking glasses, linens, writing supplies, bathroom items.
• Sort, count, and mark clean linens, store in linen closets.
• Wash windows, walls, ceiling, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary.
• Request repair services.
• Deliver ironing boards, baby cribs, and roll away beds to guests rooms.
• Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam sterilizers.
• Observe precautions to protect hotel property; report damages to supervisors.
• Carry lines, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
• Maintain a friendly, approachable attitude toward guests and staff.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
