Holiday Inn Express & Suites Morris is seeking a Breakfast Attendant to prepare and oversee the breakfast bar, ensuring guests receive a warm, efficient service in line with brand standards. The role requires working a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and a proactive approach to cleanliness and food safety.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and strong customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills with previous experience in a customer-oriented setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Greet guests, respond to their needs, and handle requests or complaints appropriately.
• Set up, maintain, and clean the breakfast area, ensuring food, utensils, and furniture are properly arranged.
• Bus tables, cleaning, and restock supplies, ensuring compliance with health codes.
• Complete inventory, reorder supplies, and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas.
• Report suspicious activity and handle lost/found items as per hotel security protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Assist with cleaning, stocking, and other tasks as assigned by management.
• Ensure high standards of presentation in public areas and assist with coordination between teams.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand/walk for most of the day.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and occasional climbing or crawling.
