Job summary

Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Cross Lanes, WV is seeking a friendly breakfast attendant to manage the morning service. You will assist with setup, maintain the dining area, keep the buffet stocked, and help guests with seating and service while ensuring the area stays clean.

This role involves cleaning tasks and high standards of cleanliness, keeping coffee fresh, wiping counters, and clearing tables between guests during the 6am–10am shift.

Responsibilities

• Keep work area clean
• Plan for breakfast daily (6am-10am)
• Keep all products stocked to ensure they are consistently available to all guests
• Throw out all outdated product
• Make sure coffee is fresh and kept full for the duration of your shift
• Make sure tables and chairs are kept clean during breakfast and at closing
• Sweep floor of dining area at closing
• Sweep and mop serving area at closing
• Wash and put away all dishes and utensils that were used
• Sweep and mop kitchen at closing
• Wipe down sliding doors weekly
• Keep counters wiped down as you go
• Make sure all food is wrapped or sealed if not used immediately
• Do table touches with guests during breakfast to ensure satisfaction
• Wash your hands
• Wear gloves when handling food
• Take trash out when full and at end of shift

Job description

Abreakfastattendant is responsible for the breakfast served to guests each morning. Breakfast attendants oversee the setup and take down of the breakfast buffet, as well as maintain the dining space, ensure food is available, and provide any other guest services. They help with seating, delivering food and drinks to guests, manage the buffet, and clean tables in between guests.

Duties:

• Keep work area clean
• Plan for breakfast daily (6am-10am)
• Keep all products stocked to ensure they are consistently available to all guests (guest that come 15 minutes before it's over should have the same options as guests that come at 6am)
• Throw out all outdated product
• Make sure coffee is fresh and kept full for the duration of your shift
• Make sure tables and chairs are kept clean during breakfast and at closing
• Sweep floor of dining area at closing
• Sweep and mop serving area at closing
• Wash and put away all dishes and utensils that were used
• Sweep and mop kitchen at closing
• Once a week wipe down both sides of both sets of sliding doors
• Keep counters wiped down as you go
• Make sure all food is wrapped or sealed if not being used immediately
• Do table touches with the guests during breakfast to ensure they have received satisfactory service
• Wash your hands
• Wear gloves when handling food, or anything that involves food
• Take trash out when full and at the end of your shift
