Job summary

SummaryThe Hotel Breakfast Attendant is responsible for preparing, setting up, and maintaining the daily breakfast service to ensure a clean, welcoming, and satisfying experience for guests. This role involves stocking and replenishing food and beverage items, maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area, and providing friendly, attentive service. The Breakfast Attendant also follows food safety standards, assists with inventory, and supports overall guest satisfaction by creating a positive start to each guest’s day.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist in the set-up and closing of the hot / continental breakfast using the provided checklists.Prepare food and replenish as needed.Ensure compliance with food safety and handling policies and procedures, i.e. product rotation, dating, labeling, cleaning.Complete daily inventory prep sheet.Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen, dining, lobby and surrounding areas.Clear and clean tables.Assist guests as needed providing exemplary service.Wash dishes and serving utensils as needed.Collect trash and waste and transport to disposal area.Assist in checking all fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, appliances, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance.
