Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Lincoln Downtown/Haymarket is seeking a part-time bartender to support bar, restaurant and banquet service. The role offers $10.50 per hour plus tips, with immediate eligibility for the Hilton Team Member Travel Program and holiday pay.

Shifts are 6-12 hours per week, with flexibility for additional hours in a friendly, clean hotel setting. Responsibilities include greeting guests, dispensing drinks, charging for orders, complying with liquor laws and hotel policies, and

Responsibilities

• Always exercise good public and customer relations; greet guests in a friendly manner.
• Dispense alcoholic beverages and control service to ensure customers do not become intoxicated.
• Prepare all drink orders and charge for them in an appropriate manner.
• Comply with liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
• Perform side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation and stocking.
• Wash and sanitize all glasses and utensils.
• Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables before closing.
• Other duties as assigned.
• If Lead: take responsibility for employees in absence of the Supervisor, assign work.

Job Responsibilities

1. Always exercise good public and customer relations skills. Take initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
2. Dispense alcoholic beverages and controls service to ensure customers do not become intoxicated in accordance with liquor and hotel and company policies and regulations.
3. Prepare all drink orders as required and to charge for such orders as they are prepared and in the appropriate manner.
4. Comply with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
5. Perform all side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation, miscellaneous preparation, stocking, etc.
6. Wash and sanitize all glasses and utensils.
7. Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to required closing time.
8. Other duties as assigned.
9. If functioning in a Lead Capacity: (a) take responsibility for assigned employees in the absence of the Supervisor, (b) assign work, and ensures proper performance of assigned employees.
