Job summary

Lincoln Hotel Group is seeking a part-time bartender to join our bar/restaurant and banquet events team in Lincoln, Nebraska. You will dispense beverages, greet guests, and help maintain a friendly, clean environment while complying with liquor laws and hotel policies.

Eligible for Hilton Team Member Travel Program with holiday pay and flexible hours (6-12 hours/week, more hours available). This role offers a part-time schedule in a lively hospitality setting with banquet events.

Qualifications

• Basic arithmetic to total costs and make change.
• Clear communication with guests to understand needs and provide information.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
• Fine motor skills to handle dishes, money, and merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Always exercise good public and customer relations skills. Greet guests warmly.
• Dispense alcoholic beverages and monitor service to prevent over-service in line with liquor laws and policies.
• Prepare drink orders and charge appropriately.
• Comply with liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
• Perform side duties such as cleaning, garnish prep, stocking, etc.
• Wash and sanitize all glasses and utensils.
• Ensure alcohol is removed from counters before closing time.
• Other duties as assigned.
• If in Lead Capacity: supervise in the absence of the Supervisor and assign work.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Always exercise good public and customer relations skills. Take initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
2. Dispense alcoholic beverages and controls service to ensure customers do not become intoxicated in accordance with liquor and hotel and company policies and regulations.
3. Prepare all drink orders as required and to charge for such orders as they are prepared and in the appropriate manner.
4. Comply with all liquor laws, health regulations, and company policies.
5. Perform all side duties such as cleaning, garnish preparation, miscellaneous preparation, stocking, etc.
6. Wash and sanitize all glasses and utensils.
7. Ensure all alcohol is removed from counters and tables prior to required closing time.
8. Other duties as assigned.
9. If functioning in a Lead Capacity: (a) take responsibility for assigned employees in the absence of the Supervisor, (b) assign work, and ensures proper performance of assigned employees.
