Job summary

Unknown Florida establishment is seeking an experienced bartender to join our bar team. You will prepare beverages for guests, promote house drinks, and ensure proper portions and cost control, delivering quick and courteous service.

The role requires extensive knowledge of mixology, cash handling, and understanding ABC regulations. You will report to the restaurant manager and may work weekends and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification as required by state or local laws.
• Must meet legal age requirements of state.
• Physical requirements include standing, carrying 30-75 lbs, walking, lifting, reaching overhead, pushing, bending, and able to climb a ladder.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that bar is clean and properly set up, i.e. supplies needed for upcoming shifts are available.
• Greet guests pleasantly as they approach the bar; promote house drinks and utilize up-selling skills.
• Prepares beverages requested by guests or servers according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitors guest behavior and alcohol service as needed; report incidents to management.
• Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
