Job summary

Moxy Cincinnati Downtown seeks a Bartender to welcome guests, craft cocktails, and provide attentive service in a fast-paced bar environment. You will mix classic drinks and house specials, recommend beer and wine, and maintain an organized, well-stocked bar while upholding responsible service standards.

We value friendly energy, strong communication, and a guest-first mindset. Full-time and part-time openings are available, with tips supplementing an hourly wage.

Responsibilities

• Restock and clean bar area as directed, including opening/closing duties.
• Stock bar supplies, manage wine, liquor and beer inventories, and ensure glassware availability.
• Verify ages and serve alcohol in accordance with laws and company policies.
• Ensure accurate guest checks and daily sales are recorded in the POS system.
• Take and deliver orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

We are looking for a Bartender at Moxy Cincinnati Downtown. At Bar Moxy, you’ll help set the mood with a warm welcome, a well-made drink, and conversation that makes guests feel at home. Whether someone is visiting Cincinnati or meeting friends for the evening, you’ll help make their time at the bar memorable.

You’ll mix classic cocktails and house specialties, recommend beer and wine, and keep orders and tabs running smoothly. Behind the bar, you’ll stay stocked, organized, and attentive to responsible service. When things get busy, you’ll communicate with teammates, notice what guests need, and follow through without losing your friendly approach.

Compensation: $5.25 hourly +Tips

Qualifications

• Prior food service industry experience is highly desired
• Outstanding time management and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members
• Must have a strong focus on putting the patron first with exceptional customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties
• Purchase needed bar supplies, stock and track all wine, liquor, and beer stocks, and have a full supply of glassware on hand, notifying management of any supply issues or shortages
• Check customers age by verifying identification cards and serve alcoholic beverages to patrons per federal, state, local, and company laws and regulations
• Ensure that all customer checks and tabs are paid as well as record daily sales total and enter into point of sale system
• Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks
