Parx Casino is seeking a cocktail server to deliver high-quality guest service on the casino floor. You will be responsible for taking and serving beverage orders, maintaining a clean and stocked service area, and following all safety and sanitation guidelines.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strict adherence to uniform and appearance standards, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.

Competenze

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
Adherence to appearance and uniform guidelines, including heel height, is mandatory.
Must appear comfortable, poised, and confident in the company-issued uniform at all times.
Must acknowledge and agree to adherence, without restriction, to any future uniform designs and accompanying accessories.

Handles customer complaints and, ifnecessary, solicits involvement and support from supervisor.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Company events and promotions and answers customers’ questions accordingly.

Provides excellent guest service to make the experience forthe guest memorable.
Handles customer complaints, and, if necessary, solicitsinvolvement and support from supervisor.

Participates in the bi-annual appearance standard check forthe cocktail server position and adheres to the terms andconditions of the guidelines set forth.
Serves as a company "ambassador" for promotionalevents, outside charity functions, sporting events, etc.…
Fulfills guest beverage order requests on the casino floor orother areas as assigned, by taking and processing orders, andserving them in a friendly, quick and efficient manner. 10-5 footrule with guests.
Assists with preparing drink orders as directed.
Card any customer who looks 30 years old or younger. Retrievesempty glasses and returns them to the service bar or otherdesignated area.
Follow Company procedures with respect to Responsible Gamingand Alcohol Service.
No more than two butts in an ashtray before it is changed.
Works collegially with supervisors, bartenders, bar porters,and other cocktail servers to prepare and deliver drinks quicklyand courteously.
Understands, complies with, and enforces all alcohol awarenessprocedures and relevant laws.
Utilizes proper cash and comp procedures, and adheres toestablished P.O.S procedures and pricing structure for every drinkorder.
Maintains a clean, well-organized and properly stocked servicearea at all times.
Complete all established set-up and break-down procedures.
Communicates with Supervisors regularly to express concerns orgive suggestions regarding the day to day operations of the department.
Performs tasks in accordance with all r elevant sanitation and safety laws and regulations.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills

High School Diploma or G.E.D. required. Must be willing toadhere strictly, and without restriction, to the appearance anduniform guidelines for this position, including the mandated heelheight for the approved footwear that is selected by the companyto complement the uniform.
Must appear comfortable, poised, and confident in thecompany-issued uniform at all times. Must acknowledge and agree toadherence, without restriction, to any future uniform designs andaccompanying accessories that may be selected by the company inthe future. Must be polite, courteous, and willing to pitch in andhelp others as directed.
Must be capable of walking, bending, pushing, pulling,lifting, squatting, and kneeling (while balancing trays withseveral beverages) for a full 8-hour shift. Capable ofcommunicating in English (both verbal and written communication).
