Job summary

Lodging Dynamics Hospitality Group LLC is seeking a Barista at the Four Points by Sheraton Anaheim to deliver friendly service and accurate orders. You will take guest orders, perform side work, and answer menu questions while maintaining cleanliness and professional appearance.

In this role, you will operate the POS system, ensure food and drink quality, and collaborate with teammates to meet guest expectations. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• AM shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Safe food handling and Smart Serve certificates required.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Must be willing to pitch-in and help co-workers with their job duties.
• Ability to effectively deal with guest and employee concerns in a friendly manner.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• General knowledge of food and food preparation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Take and serve guest orders promptly and according to service manual.
• Do all necessary set-up side work as assigned.
• Answer guest questions about the menu.
• Operate the electronic cash register/P.O.S. system.
• Check food before serving to ensure appearance, temperature and portions are correct.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
