Job summary

Drury Hotels’ Drury Inn & Suites Huntsville is hiring a kitchen/food prep associate. Under supervision, you will prepare a variety of food items according to recipes, maintain a clean prep area, and assist guests as needed to deliver hospitable service.

You will also support the bartender, operate kitchen equipment, and provide information about the hotel and local events to guests. Applicants must be 18+, fluent in English, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Requires ability to take written and verbal direction in English and speak English clearly.
• Requires ability to operate machines and equipment used, including but not limited to POS software, dishwashers, kitchen equipment.
• Requires ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of team members; ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people while exhibiting a professional demeanor.
• Requires ability to support bartender, but does not make or pour alcoholic beverages.
• Requires ability to clean and maintain areas for which responsible.
• Requires ability to move around bar and kitchen area efficiently.

Responsibilities
