Markey's, a multi-state leader in creative audio-visual services, is seeking Part-Time as Needed Event Technicians to join our team in Indianapolis. The Event Technician sets up and operates high-end equipment for live/virtual/hybrid events at various venues, both locally and nationally, and tears down post-event.

PRN, non-exempt, hourly role eligible for overtime. Must have strong customer service, troubleshooting, and collaborative skills, with the ability to lift up to 70 lbs and drive as

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of audiovisual equipment.
• Excellent time management and attention to detail.
• Able to multi-task and prioritize work.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Able to work in a collaborative team or independently.

Responsibilities

• Work with clients, PMs and other technicians to complete events.
• Set-up, tear-down, loading and unloading equipment.
• Operate audio, visual, lighting and rigging equipment for live/virtual events.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle equipment changes promptly.
• Ensure equipment is functional and safely presented to clients.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to resolution.
• Maintain organized tech areas.
• Fulfill additional duties to ensure event success.
