Job summary

Cesna-Recruitment seeks an Hotel Asset Manager/Associate to optimize a hotel portfolio by overseeing both property-based and management company reps. You will conceive revenue-generating ideas and collaborate with company leadership and external partners.

The role requires analytics in a fast-paced environment with a revenue-management focus. The position emphasizes hands-on underwriting, due diligence, capital planning, and market-driven strategy, with travel to assets as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hotel operations experience overseeing a portfolio of hotels.
• Strong analytic skills including valuation, forecasting and modeling.
• Experience with Hotel Management Company (plus).
• Proven experience in revenue management, sales and hotel operations.
• Strong work ethic, self-motivated and proactive.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multi-task under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Hands on ongoing processes including under-writing, due diligence, financing and lender reviews, and capital expenditures recommendations.
• Review monthly operating reports to track performance and variances.
• Assess and implement value-enhancement opportunities for each asset.
• Monitor progress of capital improvement projects and expenditures.
• Understand market factors and competitive properties for asset positioning.
• Evaluate F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Sales operations and 3rd party operators.
• Complete on-site property reviews; travel up to ~20%.
• Identify and address any deficient conditions of assets.
• Participate in calls with operating partners for asset and market performance.
