Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts in New Orleans seeks an Accounting Supervisor to supervise hotel accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial statements and GAAP compliance.

You will manage daily activities, support month-end close, audits, budgeting, and variance analysis while mentoring staff. Required hotel accounting experience and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with accounting systems a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel accounting and financial reporting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement preparation.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software.
• Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
• Experience with project accounting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review financial information and reports for accuracy.
• Manage daily accounting activities including reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial reports.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Provide information and support to management for decision-making.
