Opal Sands/Opal Sol in Clearwater Beach, FL is seeking an Accounting Manager to lead hotel accounting, oversee three staff and Night Auditors, and collaborate with the corporate office on GL reconciliation, tax filings, monthly financials, and year-end closings.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting (preferred), 2+ years in hotel accounting, and experience with Solomon Accounting Systems, HMS (Infor) Management, Infogenisis (Agilysys) POS, and Book4Time Spa POS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
• 2+ years of hands-on hotel accounting experience.
• Experience with Solomon Accounting Systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with front and back office hotel systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting and night audit positions.
• Coordinate with corporate office on GL reconciliation, tax filings, monthly financials, balance sheet analysis and year-end closings.
• Lead and train an accounting staff of three and Night Auditors.
