Job summary

Evolution Hospitality is seeking an Accounting Clerk at The Queen Mary in Long Beach. The role balances accounts payable and receivable, processes invoices and deposits, and supports the Property Accountant with payroll and HR duties in a busy hotel setting.

Weekend availability is required due to operational coverage. Prior Night Audit experience is preferred; experience with multiple F&B outlets is a plus, and strong analytical skills with high attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; college coursework helpful.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Experience handling AP/AR in a high-volume hotel environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring invoices and deposits are processed on time.
• Support the Property Accountant with payroll and HR-related tasks as needed.
• Assist with credit and collections, and communicate account statuses with guests and teams.
• Maintain orderly filing systems for direct billing and confidential records.
• Protect and manage confidential information with integrity.
