Job summary

Grand Hyatt Grand Cayman Resort & Spa in George Town is seeking an Accounting Clerk to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and related finance tasks per Hyatt standards.

The role requires high attention to detail, strong numerical ability, and English communication skills. Opera, Hotel POS, and hotel accounting systems proficiency is expected; prior hotel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• College coursework in related field helpful.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable with accuracy and timeliness.
• Assist Income Auditor and General Cashier duties as applicable; support payroll administration.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation; ensure confidentiality of sensitive hotel data.
• Prepare and review aging reports; assist with monthly closings and reconciliations.
• Support department leaders and management with accounting-related tasks as needed.
