Concord Hospitality is seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the Property Controller with daily, monthly, and annual accounting tasks for a group of hotels, reporting directly to the Property Controller. The role requires handling accounts payable, bank reconciliations, tax returns, and daily revenue postings.

The position emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality, and strong organizational skills, with full-time status at the corporate Raleigh office.

Qualifications

• Assist the Property Controller with daily accounting tasks.
• Support monthly and annual financial activities and reporting.
• Adhere to SOPs and internal controls in accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Verify invoices, GL coding, dates, vendors, terms, and approvals in accounts payable.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain paid invoice files by vendor.
• Oversee field accounts payable processing and process manual payments as directed.
• Maintain bank reconciliations and report variances to Property Controller.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly sales/use tax returns as directed.
• Review and post daily revenue journals; generate period-end reports.
