Job summary

Nine Orchard, a 113-room hotel operated by MML Hospitality on Manhattan's Lower East Side, seeks a Property Accountant to own daily income audit, cash and bank reconciliations, payroll, accounts payable, and month-end close. You will work closely with the Finance leadership to ensure accurate, timely financials that support guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with hotel systems such as M3.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of accounting experience.
• Strong accounting and finance knowledge, with understanding of month-end close cycle.
• Exposure to hotel and restaurant accounting and cash management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and systems skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform income audit for hotel and food & beverage outlets.
• Reconcile bank, cash, and credit card accounts; input data into accounting systems.
• Support accounts payable reconciliation and payment processing.
• Assist with payroll reconciliation and payroll reporting.
• Participate in month-end close and financial reporting.
