Fann Contracting, Inc. in Prescott, AZ seeks an experienced Mobile Hot Asphalt Plant/Production Foreman to lead day-to-day operations at our mobile plant sites.

This hands-on role supervises crews, operates with QC and trucking partners, and ensures safe, on-schedule production in the field. You will lead laborers, operators, and mechanics, enforce safety policies, and coordinate maintenance, with frequent travel across statewide Arizona.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years asphalt plant or related experience preferred.
• Must be 18+ years old; pass drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

Fann Contracting, Inc. — a leading heavy civil construction company based in Prescott, AZ — is seeking an experienced Mobile Hot Asphalt Plant/Production Foreman to join our team!

Hands‑on foreman position responsible for day‑to‑day mobile hot asphalt plant operations and production. This role leads plant laborers, equipment operators, and mechanics and requires being in the plant—not behind a desk. Strong leadership, safety focus, and quick decision‑making are essential.

Works directly with paving crews, trucking subcontractors, QC, material suppliers, and maintenance to keep production safe and on schedule.

Company truck, cell phone, and iPad/laptop provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety meetings and enforce all safety policies
• Supervise plant crews and coordinate daily production
• Perform daily plant and equipment inspections
• Work with QC to ensure mix designs and quality standards
• Coordinate with trucking and field crews for timely deliveries
• Schedule and oversee plant maintenance and repairs
• Complete accurate daily production and safety reports
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues
• Promote a positive, team‑focused work environment

Schedule & Travel

• Projects located statewide (Arizona)
• 4–7 days per week depending on project needs
• Frequent travel; stay near job site up to 95% of the time
• Nights, weekends, and overtime are common
• Clean driving record required (no DUI in past 4 years)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 3+ years of asphalt plant or related experience preferred

Requirements & Skills

• Must be 18+ years old
• Pass drug screen and background check
• Strong knowledge of mobile asphalt plant operations to include maintenance procedures
• Ability to operate loaders, skid steers, forklifts, cranes, and other heavy equipment
• Ability to lead a small crew by example
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills
• Must follow all OSHA/MSHA and company safety policies
• Willing to travel and work nights, weekends, and overtime
