Skana Aluminum Company is hiring a Hot Mill Technician in Manitowoc, WI. You will rotate between main operations like the Hot Mill Operator and Upcoiler, maintaining continuous mill operation and ensuring product quality.

The role requires a hands-on, safety-first mindset with a willingness to cross-train and learn. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a fast-paced plant environment.

Qualificações

• Previous machine operation experience preferred.
• A strong work ethic and reliability.
• Flexibility with scheduling, including cross-training.
• Good communication skills.
• Pride in keeping a clean, organized workspace.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate the hot mill to reduce aluminum coils to specified dimensions.
• Prepare coils for finishing at the Upcoiler station and assist with roll changes.
• Cut and prepare slabs using overhead crane hoists and saws.
• Coil, band, and mark finished coils for storage and reporting quality defects.
• Assist with coolant systems, lubrication, and general maintenance.
• Complete shop paperwork and daily production tracking; operate forklift to store finished coils.
