Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Shift Production Supervisor - Hot Mill for a Beaumont, TX manufacturing client. The role leads a rolling mill team, drives production, and ensures safety and quality on the shift.

You will oversee 15–20 direct reports, coordinate with maintenance and other shifts, and manage scheduling, billet flow, and changeovers.

The ideal candidate holds a 4-year degree or higher, with experience in heavy mill machinery and supervisory roles in steel production.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required; degree is a plus.
• Experience with heavy mill machinery and related equipment.
• Experience supervising shift teams; 5+ years and training in steel mill rolling/finishing.

Responsibilities

• Drive maximum production at the lowest cost per schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate a shift workforce on rolling operations.
• Assign work based on sequences, labor skills, and shift instructions.
• Coordinate with adjacent shift leadership on maintenance, repairs, and updates.
• Ensure adequate personnel, materials, tools, and equipment for shifts.
