Job summary

Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) in Keene, NH, is hiring a Hot Melt Ink Production Cell Operator I for the 2nd shift. You will join a production team responsible for ink manufacturing, packaging, and material handling in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes following SOPs, operating mills and mixers, and logging daily production data while contributing to Lean/6S initiatives and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate ink mills, mixers, scales, and packaging equipment per SOPs.
• Perform equipment changeovers and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain accurate daily production logs and report variances.
• Support safety and 6S lean activities; keep area clean and organized.
• Assist in material handling and forklift operations as required.

In this role you’ll have an opportunity to contribute as part of the ink manufacturing team utilizing standard procedures for ink manufacturing, product packing, raw material handling, equipment operation and safety requirements.Job Responsibilities:Execute manufacturing operations according to standards (SOP’s) and job safety requirementsOperate ink mills, mixers, scales, product packaging and other production equipment.Perform equipment changeovers and basic troubleshooting and adjustments on ink mills and mixers as requiredComplete daily production logs and required reportingProposes any identified improvement in the activity scopeMaintain material supply level adhering to “just-in-time” manufacturing principlesOperate forklift to maintain raw material supply for the production line as requiredTroubleshoot mechanical failures and process issues (automation experience including picks and place systems / robotics).Continuous Improvement and lean manufacturing implementation.Clean and maintain work area, emphasis using 6S principles and sustainment.Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GEDAbility to read and write, as well as follow written instructionsBasic math and measurement skillsStrong hand eye coordination and dexterityClear vision and ability to distinguish between colorsFrequent standing, kneeling, bending and/or lifting.
