Job summary

ELLWOOD Crankshaft Group (ECG) in Sharon, PA seeks a full-time Working Hot End Supervisor to manage the forging press and heat-treat work centers and lead a team of operators. The role focuses on productivity, safety, quality, and on-time delivery while coordinating with maintenance, engineering and plant leadership.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in forging and thermal manufacturing processes, plus excellent organizational and communication skills to drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years managerial or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and associated controls.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize between development projects and daily responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the press and heat treatment work centers and supervise the team of operators.
• Lead safety, quality, engagement and on-time performance initiatives.
• Coordinate production requirements with maintenance, engineering and operators.
• Develop and implement standardized work practices and training for the forging team and engineering staff.
• Provide input on new equipment installation, capacity expansion and process improvements.
