Qualifications

• 2 years in hot deli or related fields; 1 year in management/supervisor role
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and lift 25+ lbs
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays; potential travel for training
• Reading and applying technical procedures and training materials
• Bilingual English, Chinese, and Spanish preferred
• Authorized to work in the United States; at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Oversee Hot Deli Department SOP, product knowledge, production planning, ordering and staff management
• Manage daily operation to meet company standards
• Collaborate with store management on promotions and sales targets
• Maintain attractive food displays and ensure freshness and stock levels
• Plan production and orders based on inventory, events, and trends
• Receive shipments; check quantity, quality, and freshness
• Control inventory movements and rotate stock (FIFO)
• Ensure food prep, portioning, packaging, labeling and storage meet SOPs and safety standards
• Maintain awareness of customer preferences and seasonal demand
• Use pricing programs and signage tools efficiently
• Provide schedules and manage attendance for department staff
• Mentor and train staff; conduct performance reviews
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and perform other duties as needed
