99 Ranch Market in Pleasanton, CA is seeking a Manager In Training for the Hot Deli Department. The program runs 6 to 8 months of training and evaluations, after which qualified candidates are assigned to a store and take on supervisory duties.

You will manage daily deli operations, supervise staff, plan production and orders, maintain product quality and attractive displays, and work with store management on promotions to meet sales targets.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in hot deli, food service, restaurant, food production, grocery retail, or related fields (1 year of management/supervisor experience required).
• Capable of reading, analyzing, interpreting procedures and training materials.
• Able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Hot Deli Department's daily operation and meet company standards.
• Design store promotion plans with store management to meet sales targets.
• Maintain food displays, ensure product quality and freshness, and keep service areas stocked.
• Plan production and order ingredients based on inventory and promotions.
• Provide schedules and manage attendance for department employees.
• Coach and train staff and conduct performance reviews.
