Tech24 is hiring a Hot & Cold Technician to repair and maintain commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment across Virginia. You will operate a company vehicle, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely service at customer sites.

The role requires strong technical skills, independent work, and excellent customer service. Occasional on-call work, traveling within the region, and safety compliance are expected.

Formación

• Valid driver's license and driving record.
• 3-5 years of commercial kitchen repair and refrigeration experience.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to travel extensively within the region.
• Occasional nights/weekends/holidays for on-call rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Inspects equipment and components to ensure safe operation.
• Communicates status of repairs to customer and branch staff to maintain schedule.
• Completes service tickets per procedures.
• Tracks truck stock to ensure needed parts are stocked on vehicle.
• Maintains service vehicle, tools, and uniform compliance with Tech24 standards.
• Demonstrates professionalism and acts as a company advocate.
• Follows all company policies and safety procedures.

1-2-3 Equipment Solutions, a Tech24 Company, primarily serves restaurant and hospitality customers across Virginia and North Carolina by offering maintenance/repair and installation/replacement of HVAC, refrigeration, and hot-side kitchen equipment. The company also provides temporary cold storage solutions for planned maintenance and unplanned emergencies.

Position Summary:

The Hot & Cold Technician is responsible for driving a company vehicle to and from customer sites to troubleshoot, maintain and repair commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment. To be a successful Hot & Cold Technician, you should be able to work independently and solve problems as quickly and efficiently as possible. To excel in this position, you should have strong technical skills, be a master at trouble shooting and be an expert in customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoots and repairs commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspects the commercial kitchen and refrigeration equipment and their related components to ensure safe operation.
• Communicates with customer and branch staff regarding status of repairs to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customers.
• Completes service tickets according to procedures.
• Tracks truck stock to ensure needed parts are stocked on vehicle.
• Sustains service vehicle, tools, and uniforms to Tech24 standards.
• Sets a positive example for less experienced and/or new technicians by being a Company advocate.
• Follows all company policies and procedures, particularly regarding safety.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
• 3-5 years of commercial kitchen repair and refrigeration experience
• Superb customer service skills
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Standard computer skills
• Own industry's standard hand tools
• Ability to travel extensively within the region
• Ability to work some nights, weekend, and holidays for on-call rotation with your department (frequency varies with department size)
• Mechanically inclined with a hunger to learn new techniques and approaches
• Universal EPA certification preferred
