Job summary

Southern Tier in Buffalo is seeking a Host to welcome guests, manage seating, and support merchandise sales in the taproom. You will be the face of the brand, guiding guests through their visit with friendly, informed service.

The role emphasizes strong communication, ability to handle fast-paced environments, and comfort with POS and guest questions about products. Competitive compensation and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age (17 allowed in certain counties).
• At least one year of related experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Experience with POS systems and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact in the taproom, greeting guests.
• Answer the telephone and manage wait and floor plan using Table Maintenance technology.
• Coordinate with staff to ensure smooth operation and guest experience.
• Process merchandise transactions using the POS system.
• Restock the merchandise cooler and retail space to maintain organization.
• Maintain cleanliness of host, taproom, and merchandise areas.
• Assist with side duties such as cleaning and restocking restrooms.
