Job summary

Southern Tier is seeking a friendly Server Assistant to join our taproom team in Buffalo, NY. You will deliver orders to tables, help keep the dining area clean, and ensure guests have a great experience.

The role requires reliability, strong communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. We offer a starting wage and a collaborative team atmosphere where you can grow with one of the country’s beloved craft brands.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience as a server assistant, utility, or food runner preferred.
• Must maintain a positive attitude while working with a sense of urgency.
• Must be able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean taproom by clearing glasses, plates, silverware and other items to ensure a pleasant dining experience and efficient turnover of tables.
• Visually inspect all food leaving expo for proper plating, sauce application, and presentation; return any incorrect orders to the kitchen.
• Deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to guests.
• Maintain inventory levels for the bar, changing kegs when required.
• Assist with other tasks such as cleaning the dining area, restocking server stations, and rolling silverware.
• Assist guests and servers/bartenders with other hospitality functions as needed.
