Job summary

Bally's restaurant in Shreveport, LA is seeking a host/hostess to greet guests, manage reservations, and support dining room operations. The role emphasizes guest service, clear communication, and efficient multitasking in a high-volume environment.

The position requires the ability to stand/walk for full shifts, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal skills. Experience as a host is preferred. This is an on-site hospitality role with standard shift responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain/maintain any other necessary licenses and/or certifications
• Must be able to communicate (hear, speak, read, and write) in English
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized to effectively and efficiently multi-task
• Must have excellent communication and guest service skills
• Six (6) months of experience as a host in a high volume and/or fine dining environment preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and escort restaurant guests to their table based on the number of persons in their party and according to assigned stations
• Answer phones and book reservations utilizing the company reservation system in accordance with established standards
• Process payment transactions in accordance with established procedures
• Assist with station assignments, rotating planning, and opening/closing/securing the room
• Complete side work duties in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
