Responsibilities

• Making a memorable first and last impression
• Greeting incoming and departing guests in a welcoming manner and seating them in the dining and bar areas, ensuring a smooth handoff to service staff
• Coordinating the wait and seating guests with a sense of urgency
• Engaging with guests through genuine conversations and always maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Having a general knowledge of the food and drink menu to recommend and upsell products
• Answering phones promptly and professionally, directing calls appropriately
• Assisting throughout the restaurant by bussing tables, delivering food and beverages, and ensuring excellent customer service, demonstrating teamwork
• Leading the lobby experience following Outback hospitality standards
• Maintaining safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during shifts

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 lbs and work in hot and cold environments
• Ability to walk, stand, or bend for long periods while performing job duties
• For California-based positions: Responsible Beverage Service Certifications required (can be completed during training or within 60 days of start date)
