Job summary

Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa is seeking a friendly Host to warmly welcome guests and ensure they are seated promptly in our dining area. You will greet guests entering the restaurant, pull out chairs, and present menus while coordinating reservations for large parties.

Key duties include answering phones, managing seating availability, assisting servers when needed, and maintaining a welcoming, safe dining environment. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Prior host experience preferred.
• Must be able to multitask.
• Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TABC - or obtain upon hire.

• Seat guests at clean, available tables and present clean menus.
• Answer phone and record reservations for large parties.
• Control high-volume areas outside of the restaurant.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and wellbeing.

• Thank every guest upon departure and invite them to return.

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests when entering the restaurant with a pleasant smile and superior customer service.
• Seat guests by finding a clean, available table, pulling out chairs, and placing clean menu in front of guest.
• Answer phone and record reservations for large parties.
• Control high volume outside of restaurant.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety and wellbeing of guests.
• Assist servers when needed.
• Thank every guest upon departure, invite them to return, and wish them a fond farewell.
