Topnotch Resort in Vermont is seeking a friendly Host Person to greet guests, coordinate reservations, and ensure a warm first impression at The Roost restaurant. You will help with beverages, seating, and maintaining dining room readiness.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in a similar role and a high school diploma. The position offers full-time hours, competitive hourly pay, and access to the resort's benefits and employee discounts.

• Aid with rolling silverware, replenishing condiments, and restock supplies as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all restaurant and service workstations.

Essential Job Functions

• Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness

• Continuously replenish beverages and condiments, paying special attention to coffee and tea, while regularly checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction
• Receive, record, and coordinate reservations and special events at the restaurant
• Aid with rolling silverware, replenishing condiments, and restock supplies as needed
• Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all restaurant and service workstations

• Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs
• Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the restaurants and kitchen areas

The hourly rate for this position is $16.00

Education

• High school diploma or its equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 1-year Host Person experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred
• Hotel experience preferred
• Food Handlers Certification preferable
