Job summary

Gen3 Hospitality in Las Vegas is seeking a friendly Host Person to greet and seat guests at Flour & Barley, ensuring a smooth dining flow in a busy venue.

You will communicate with guests and servers, maintain cleanliness, and keep menu knowledge ready to meet guests’ dietary needs. This is a part-time, varied-shift role rooted in hospitality and community service.

Qualifications

• Experience in guest services is a plus.
• Ability to greet and seat guests efficiently.
• Strong communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Communicate with guests in person and by phone as needed.
• Assist servers as needed to ensure smooth service.
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean and organized.
• Maintain menu knowledge to offer suitable suggestions for dietary needs.
• Adhere to department and property policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as directed by management.

Description

The primary responsibility of the Host Person is to greet and seat guests in an efficient and friendly manner. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Position Requirements

Duties include, but are not limited, to the following

• Ensures guests are greeted and seated in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Communicates effectively with guests, both in person and by phone.
• Assists servers as needed.
• Cleans tables and other areas as needed.
• Maintains full knowledge of menu options to be able to offer suggestions to meet the guest’s special requests or dietary needs.
• Adheres to and complies with both departmental and overall property policies and procedures.
• Performs additional duties as directed by management
