Job summary

Method Co. is seeking a friendly, professional host to welcome guests and manage the front-of-house flow at Lowland. You will greet guests, manage reservations and seating, and coordinate with the service team to ensure a seamless dining experience.

Ideal candidates will have 1+ year of experience in hospitality, strong communication, and a warm, guest-focused demeanor. Familiarity with Resy/OpenTable is a plus, and competitive hourly pay along with dining perks across Method Co.

Qualifications

• 1+ year in a host/guest services/front-of-house role ( upscale or high-volume preferred).
• Strong communication and a polished, professional presence.
• Ability to multitask and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Warm, guest-focused demeanor with a genuine passion for hospitality.
• Familiarity with reservation platforms (Resy, OpenTable, or similar) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism.
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and seating to ensure smooth service flow.
• Maintain an organized host stand and uphold visual standards of the entry area.
• Communicate effectively with the service team to support pacing and guest experience.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menus, highlighting notable features or offerings.
• Answer phone inquiries and provide accurate information about the restaurant.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve issues with grace and efficiency.
• Uphold safety, sanitation, and service standards.

Working Conditions/Environment:

• The person having this position may have to stand and/or walk, push, kneel, bend, balance, squat, reach and stretch for eight (8) hours per day.
